What is Footbridge Foundation?
We are a nonprofit 501c3 based in San Antonio, Texas. Formed in 2017, our mission is to rescue and find loving homes for adoptable cats and dogs. To fund our charitable animal rescue efforts we rely solely on the much-needed donations of our generous supporters. We can't do it without you!
We rehabilitate and then adopt our cats and dogs to amazing pet owners not only in San Antonio but throughout the country. We work with many local shelters, rescues, and individuals to save as many lives as we can.

An Incredible Afternoon at “Off the Leash” 2024
Animal lovers and supporters came together to make a difference at Footbridge Foundation’s annual Off the Leash Fundraiser, and we couldn’t be more grateful!
Thanks to your generosity, we surpassed our goal to support our spay/neuter clinic. On top of that, we raised over $10,000 on the day of the event, unlocking a $10,000 match from Tito’s Vodka for Dog People!
These vital funds will sustain our spay/neuter clinic, which has already performed over 900 surgeries since its launch in March 2023. Your support directly contributes to reducing pet overpopulation and improving the well-being of countless animals in our city.
The Denim and Diamonds theme was a hit! It was wonderful to see everyone decked out in their favorite jeans and sparkles. From the buzzing silent auction to the amazing food and drinks, the energy was simply unbeatable.

This program, created to help our long-time residents, not only has YOU as a member but our long-term pets become members when they need an extra push to get adopted. You are helping by sponsoring their adoption fee, removing that barrier to adoption. Also, your donation provides for their continued resources and medical care while in our program.

We have so many great rescue stories we could write a book. Our pets have landed in amazing homes across the country. Enjoy some of our feel good stories.
Wish List
Our Amazon Wish List has items we use on a continuous basis. We will gladly accept ANY animal related donations such as litter, pet food, puppy pads, cleaning supplies, creates/carriers, toys, and towels.

Hops and Hounds Adoption Event
Footbridge Foundation recently hosted another wonderful dog adoption event at Hops and Hounds!
It was a joyous day filled with laughter and wagging tails. We're thrilled to share that some of our pups found their forever homes!
Thank you to our fosters and volunteers who attended and helped make this event such a success. We are grateful to Hops and Hounds for hosting us and to our incredible supporters for making a difference. Here's to more happy adoptions in the future!
