What is Footbridge Foundation?
We are a nonprofit 501c3 based in San Antonio, Texas. Formed in 2017, our mission is to rescue and find loving homes for adoptable cats and dogs. To fund our charitable animal rescue efforts we rely solely on the much-needed donations of our generous supporters. We can't do it without you!
We rehabilitate and then adopt our cats and dogs to amazing pet owners not only in San Antonio but throughout the country. We work with many local shelters, rescues, and individuals to save as many lives as we can.

This program, created to help our long-time residents, not only has YOU as a member but our long-term pets become members when they need an extra push to get adopted. You are helping by sponsoring their adoption fee, removing that barrier to adoption. Also, your donation provides for their continued resources and medical care while in our program.

We have adoptable kittens and cats you can see at the Bandera Pointe Petsmart Adoption Center located at 1604 and Bandera Road, 11791 Bandera Road next to Kohl’s. (210) 526-6631.

Wish List
Our Amazon Wish List has items we use on a continuous basis. We will gladly accept ANY animal related donations such as litter, pet food, puppy pads, cleaning supplies, creates/carriers, toys, and towels.
Footbridge Foundation's 2nd Annual Fundraiser and Silent Auction
Footbridge Foundation's second annual fundraiser, 'Off The Leash' was hosted by local celebrity Chef Johnny Hernandez at Casa Hernán Cantina. The event was to celebrate our work in San Antonio and help raise funds for our newly opened spay-neuter clinic. Over $55,000 was raised in order to operate our spay-neuter clinic, providing a much-needed service to downtown San Antonio.
Our 2nd annual Off the Leash 2023 Event had an amazing silent auction with over 150 items donated by businesses and people who are passionate about supporting Footbridge Foundation’s spay-neuter clinic and rescue efforts!

Dogs 'N Drafts Adoption Event
Thank you for joining us at the Footbridge Foundation's Dogs ‘N Drafts Adoption Event, where wagging tails and furry friends took center stage! Our four-legged companions were ready to steal everybody’s heart and find their forever homes. The event also featured the Pup Pint Pass Perks, which you could use at Breakaway Brewery Company!
You can still buy one with exclusive discounts to enjoy at over a dozen dog-friendly breweries, bars, and draft beer-serving restaurants for AN ENTIRE YEAR.
Also, 10% of each pass sold is donated directly to support Footbridge Foundation and the mission to help local pets in need!
