Hope - Adopted

ABOUT ME

UPDATE: Wow! A kind and generous Good Samaritan has offered to pay the adoption fees for whoever adopts Hope and Nathan to ensure this pair of BFFs will stay together forever!!!⠀

Hope, who is three months old now, came to us as our first bottle baby of the 2020 season in March. She was found in the street in the rain by a Good Samaritan and brought to a vet clinic where Kate, one of our fosters, works. Kate rushed this tiny baby to Erin and Matt, who bathed her to get all the fleas off and quickly got her into their incubator. Matt is a veterinarian. Erin is a vet technician. And they are our neonatal experts. They have an incubator and have saved many kittens.

Over the last several weeks, Erin and Matt have cared for Hope and our amazing Footbridge Foundation supporters and fans participated in a donation and naming contest during which Hope’s name was drawn at random from the suggested names we received. But, the name suits her perfectly. We had hope she would recover from the dire circumstances in which she was found. And, she gives us hope for the future.

Hope is now perfectly healthy! She’s FIV/FeLV negative, microchipped, up to date on vaccines, on flea prevention, spayed, and she’s ready to be adopted!

*Please note that because we rescue new animals every week, not all of our pets may appear on our website.  Feel free to contact us for additional information.

Upon receiving a completed application, we review it and contact you to line up a meet and greet. A collar, tag and carrier must be brought to the meet and greet. We recommend researching supplies needed for a new pet and gathering those supplies needed, you can contact us to find out what food to buy. Adoption fees for cats are generally $100 plus tax unless the cat has had a special surgery or treatment.
