ABOUT ME

Katniss is a special, three-month-old kitten. Diagnosed with scoliosis, her spine is curved, which pushes her tummy out to the side. But it certainly doesn’t stop her!

Katniss learned to walk, jump, and run all on her own. She loves to climb her tower and play with toys and other kitties.

She weighs barely two pounds and, due to her abnormality, she’ll probably always be a small cat.

Katniss loves to snuggle and most of the time her favorite position is laying on her back (which relieves the pressure on her spine).

We’re looking for the perfect family to adopt Katniss, one that, ideally, will have at least one other animal and older children.

Our adoption fee for cats is $100 per kitten or cat. Please send us your application so we can set up a meet and greet at our office or at a location of the foster’s choosing.

*Please note that because we rescue new animals every week, not all of our pets may appear on our website.  Feel free to contact us for additional information.

Upon receiving a completed application, we review it and contact you to line up a meet and greet. A collar, tag and carrier must be brought to the meet and greet. We recommend researching supplies needed for a new pet and gathering those supplies needed, you can contact us to find out what food to buy. Adoption fees for cats are generally $100 plus tax unless the cat has had a special surgery or treatment.
