Samuel - Adopted

ABOUT ME

This sweetheart has had a rough road since he came to us a few months ago.⠀

Samuel has been treated for the tick borne diseases he had. He’s now neutered and up to date on all vaccines. He is on monthly Advantage Multi for fleas and heart worm prevention. He wears a Seresto collar to make sure no more ticks find him. He’s been undergoing heart worm treatment and is microfilaria negative. He will be retested in a few months to make sure he is heart worm free.⠀

Samuel has made a beautiful recovery considering the condition in which he was discovered. He continues to have a slightly off kilter gait, almost like he’s had a cocktail. He is the happiest, most loving and sweet 18-pound boy you’ll meet.⠀

*Please note that because we rescue new animals every week, not all of our pets may appear on our website.  Feel free to contact us for additional information.

How to get the ball rolling on adoptions:

Because we are a foster-based rescue and do not house our animals in a central location, you will need to complete and submit an adoption application for approval before we arrange a meet-and-greet for you and our pets.  Please bring a collar, leash, and owner tag when meeting your prospective adoptee.  Welcoming a new pet into your family is exciting, but it can also be stressful for you  and your new buddy!  Having food, bedding, toys, sleeping crate, etc, set up in advance will greatly ease the transition for everyone.  Feel free to contact us with any questions.  Our adoption fees for dogs are generally $250 (plus tax) unless the dog has undergone a special surgery or treatment.
